1. Enhanced Direct Reading and Processing
- Direct reading and processing are supported with the BMP, JPEG, Jpeg2000, MrSID, GeoTiff, Erdas Imagine file(img), and ECW formats. PG-STEAMER also supports fast data access by generating XLD files for level data and additional information.
2. DEM Extraction Module
- DEM can be generated with RPC and stereo images from the following sensors:
- KOMPSAT-2
- IKONOS
- GeoEye-1
- QuickBird
- WorldView-1/2
- OrbView-3
- ALOS PRISM
3. Preview Function in the File Open Window
- Previewing in the file open window is available with XDM and direct-reading-supported file types.
4. Ortho Rectification
- Ortho rectification is available with GeoEye-1 and WorldView-2 imagery that come with RPC.
5. More File Formats Supported
- Supported are GeoEye-1 GeoTiff, WorldView-2 GeoTiff, RapidEye GeoTiff/NITF and GOSAT HDF.
6. Pan-Sharpening Algorithm
- Added the Statistical eFIHS sharpening method.
